Exhibition of Drawings by Kyung-Lim Lee, Jan 16 2010
Hiram Butler sends us this invitation to an opening of the work of Kyung-Lim Lee, the partner of James Turrell:
An exhibition of drawings by Kyung-Lim Lee will open at
11:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday 16 January 2010
Devin Borden Hiram Butler Gallery
4520 Blossom Street
Houston, TX 77007
Please join us for a preview and a cup of coffee
I know both James and Kyung would appreciate your attendance and the opportunity to say hello. They plan to spend the night and attend early meeting for worship the next day.
I'm frequently asked, "What do you do at an opening?" Answer: Come fifteen to twenty minutes late as the artist is always a few minutes late. Walk around and look at the exhibition and then say hello to the artist and tell them something nice about their work. If you have time, have a cup of coffee and spend fifteen minutes talking to someone else you might know in attendance.
Children are welcome, it is one of the reasons we have our openings on Saturday morning.
For wheel chair access, come to the back of the gallery and up the ramp. Either call us from your cell or knock on the back door and we'll open up.
I do hope you can make it.
