There are many ways to read the bible. We will explore interpreting what we read in the bible using a four point summary of biblical interpretation methods, using an essay by Gene Marshall called "New Testament Living"

Raul Alcaraz Ochoafrom the ACLU of Texas will present an overview of ACLU's fight for immigrants' rights at the state AND local level. He will help us to understand what rights immigrants have when interacting with the police or ICE. Rev. Ronnie Lister from the AFL-CIO will talk about Houston's Sanctuary Network, and how to join it.
