Little Free Library Grand Opening - Sunday January 6th after rise of meeting

By Patrick Brooks - Posted on December 30 2012

The Children's Religious Education Committee and the children of the meeting have completed work on a Little Free Library which is a free book exchange for the community in the form of a publicly accessible container for books. The surrounding neighborhood will be able to take books from the library or leave books for others to use. The motto of the Little Free Library movement is "Celebrating Healthier Neighborhoods" and we hope to contribute to this goal by hosting our Little Free Library.

A article about some other nearby Little Free Libraries can be found here.

We are having a grand opening ceremony for the Little Free Library on Sunday, January 6th after rise of meeting (12 noon or thereabouts). We hope you can join us! We have enough books to start off and more information about donating to the libary will be forthcoming.

Our Little Free Library is mounted on the fence facing 26th street
