Announcements / Thomas Kelly
Sunday, May 17, Adult First Day School will host a discussion on Thomas Kelly's ideas about "The Eternal Now and Social Concern", and "The Simplification of Life" (two chapters from his book "A Testament of Devotion"). Kelly was a Quaker philosopher who lived and taught in the United States during the early to mid-twentieth century. In "A Testament of Devotion" Kelly describes his experience in connecting with the presence of God, and how this can change the way one lives. Mark Herranen will lead the discussion.
9:20--10:20 a.m. in The Meeting House. All are welcome.
