Candlelighting

There are many traditions of bringing light into the darkness.  One that has been observed for over thirty years at Live Oak Friends Meeting is a simple candlelighting program where all participants add the light of their candle and the energy of their hope for the upcomng year. This year we will set up our circle in the meetinghouse.  Those who want to sing or play some carols  may gather at 6:30 for a half hour of music.
