Morning Star Conservancy film and discussion

Join us in the Meetinghouse to view a 20-minute documentary depicting the plight of the peyote.

This culturally and botanically significant plant medicine is a threatened species in its native desert habitat. The film shows several interviews of Native American Church members giving their perspective of the devastating environmental degradation, but it also outlines solutions and strategies to prevent extinction of the revered plant medicine, peyote. https://morningstarconservancy.org/

Discussion follows led by founders of Morning Star Conservancy David Marbain and Ruth Valdizon

The event is free to attend, donations are welcome.

There will be art and objects available for purchase which helps fund their work. Please come and meet these very nice folks and hear about their work and what we can do to help if able.
