Intergenerational Meeting for Worship
Quarterly Intergenerational Meeting for Worship during the regular meeting for worship time. Children and adults of all ages are encouraged to attend. This is an experience of semi-programmed worship for all ages. After worship begins, we’ll hear a story, and then waiting worship will continue. Friends of all ages are welcome to sit on the floor for the story and worship. There will be quiet, creative materials that encourage inward listening and are available for all ages. Intergenerational means “everything is available for everyone” — sharing vocal ministry, using materials provided, making a choice about where to sit (or lie down), resting in the silence.
Adults will be available to accompany children to the Lucretia Mott room if they become uncomfortable in the worship space. There will also be space reserved for traditional worship in the Woolman Room.
